Background

Breastfeeding mothers often seek natural ways to support their milk supply. Milk and Bloom was founded with this goal in mind — to provide freshly baked lactation cookies made with real ingredients known to support lactation. This small observational study investigates the observed impact on milk supply among a group of mothers who regularly consumed our cookies.

Our Objectives

  • To evaluate self-reported changes in milk supply after consuming Milk and Bloom cookies.

  • To understand the timeline, dosage, and experiences of mothers using our products.

  • To assess customer satisfaction and likelihood of recommending the product.

Methodology

  • Participants: 20 breastfeeding mothers (aged 22–39) who purchased and consumed Milk and Bloom cookies.

  • Design: Voluntary feedback via post-purchase surveys and direct interviews, collected over a 2-week period.

  • Products Consumed: A variety of Milk and Bloom’s freshly baked lactation cookies, including best-selling flavours such as classic choc chip, Biscoff-filled, almond croissant, dates and walnut, and others.

  • Frequency: Average intake of 1–2 cookies per day.

  • Metrics: Self-reported changes in milk supply, breastfeeding experience, time to notice impact, and satisfaction level.
